Just So Stories

This is a project I worked on for many years. It is a piece for Chamber Ensemble and Narrator adapted from Kipling’s timeless ‘Just So Stories’ for children.

I performed the narration on the recording myself. The ensemble that played the piece was made up of some members of the Irish Chamber Orchestra and good friends. The ensemble was lead by Katherine Hunka.

From The Road

During covid we all had the opportunity to pause and reflect on why we do what we do. As for many, the pandemic was a particularly difficult time for my family. My uncle John was an amazing musician and the finest balladeer you will ever hear. Unfortunately he passed away from motor neurone disease while we were under lock down. All the proceeds from this album go to the IMNDA. The album is a collection of live tracks recorded on tour. Of my recordings it is the only one I ask people to purchase and it is only available from Bandcamp.
